Now that CentOS 6 has been released, I am working with it to see how stable and reliable it will be with IRLP. They have also released a "CentOS 6 Minimal CD Image", which may be able to save us a LOT of time in support of the install CD.

With the minimal install, we can then get the machine "online" and gather all the other packages required for IRLP use, and add them on top. All we will have to do is build and insert an "install" script that gathers the required files from known sources, and sets the node up over the network.

If anyone wants to be a guinea pig for testing, I will be looking for someone later next week to run a few test nodes under CentOS 6.
