Ну, конечьно каждое ново радио вытесняеть старые (когда сделано хорошо). TS590S кажеться сделан хорошо и имееть большие надежды на успех. Все же вряд ли будем свидетелями убийства. К3 в базовой конфигурации стоить примерно столько же и имеет преимущество из за прямого сообщения пользвателей с производителем. Быстрая и надежная поддержка цениться в США, где самый важный рынок трансиверов.
Интересно однако, как будеть с FT5000, которой 3 раза дороже :).

Кто знает есть ли у него (IF OUT) выход ПЧ для панорамы ??

Вот если бы АРУ еще отключалась, было бы неплохо.
Смотрю на свой TS-870 и сравниваю внешний вид.
Корпус тот же , только лицевая панель изменена. А так суппер!!!!!!

Ну вот и размеры его Size (W x H x D mm) 270 x 96 x 291 ,да размером с 570 !Я его уже хочу!
А вот и с зади только на половину.

5. Some planned features were not present in the demo radio.
6. October 2010 is the hopeful sale date.
7. $1800 price.
Here is what I saw:
1. RX antenna & transverter connections on rear.
2. USB connection on rear seems have audio capability.
3. Hard and soft processor settings.
4. AGC adjustable.
5. 3kHz max TX bandpass and 5kHz max receive bandpass. Fixed EQ shaping.
6. Auto & manual notch.
And some other possible features or changes that are not official at this time:
1. Parametric TX EQ & noise gate.
2. Hard and soft RX filter skirts.
3. Interfacing two 590s together for TX/RX.
4. Buffered IF output for pan display.
And for the future:
1. Top line radio within two years with $5k price. Maybe TS-990.
2. TS-2000 has a planned overhaul. No confirmed time frame.
