there is something wrong in the cluster windows.




In example you can view differece beetwen telnet windows and cluster windows.

I think problem was when find caracter < > in the spot comment.

Check for dupe qso (in General setup)

In the log I would like to find this function very convenient.

Do not send the qsl for the same call/band/mode (QSO DUPE).
Field PrintQueue "N"

So in the qso entry windows, if I type a call already contact in the same band and mode,
the flag "N" is automatically put in the "PrintQueue" field.

Of course I can change the field before saving the qso,
but automatically "N" is set.

"check for dupe qso" function could also be activated when I import an adif,
perhaps after a contest, where I import in my log many stations already contact
several times in previous contests.

When I import the qso from an adif after contest,
if the qso is already present in my log (same call/band/mode),
"N" is automatically put in the PrintQueue field.

Of course this function is a personal choice,
which everyone can activate or deactivate in the general setup.

Strange, been running fine for 1 year.

LogHX + Gridtracker + WSJT-X


Nothing changed but now it will not log into LogHX

The only way I can get it to work is if I use the main udp server value in LogHX but then gridtracker doesn't work.

I used to have it set up like

WSJT >>>> main UDP to Gridtracker
WSJT >>>> 2nd UDP to LogHX

If I type in the wsjt callsign box it would appear in the log entry box in loghx, now nothing. Many reboots. I even updated to 611 loghx and 2.30 wsjt but still the same issue.

First, I have configured
"Setup LogHX" -> "Callbook" -> "Internet Database" -> "Insert data from QRZ.COM".

This works well and correctly with new QSOs for stations never worked.

But if I insert a QSO with a station already worked,
the old data from the log are taken by default,
those inserted in the previous QSO.

Personally I prefer to always have updated and new data, taken from qrz.com,
the correspondent may have changed qth in the meantime.

So the ideal would be to add the possibility to choose ....
whether to keep the old data or to force and always update with new data.

This is chosen by the user by putting a small flag "always update data".

I hope this option is easy ... and of interest to all users.

- In the "Correct log data" menu I would like to have the function for
update all the data (complete) by downloading them directly from QRZ.COM
(obviously only for the selected QSOs and not for the entire log).

This could be useful after converting a contest log,
therefore without the corresponding data,
or during the log maintenance phase, only for some selected QSOs.

I cannot find it but is there a field I can export to Excel that shows the CONTINENT of the station (ie Europe, NA, SA,OC,AF). Just need a field I can do some calculations on.
